Purpose & Legal Basis

We process the personal data that you enter on this form exclusively for:

1. SBA communication (e-mails, event invitations, fee notices, coordination of activities, feedback to and from members)

   Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – performance of your membership contract and Art. 6 (1) (f) – our legitimate interest in pursuing the goals of our association.

2. Disclosure to third parties only with your explicit consent.

   Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – consent, which you may withdraw at any time with future effect.

   If you check the box, then we may share the specified information with members of our distribution list.

3. Disclosure in case of legal obligations

   Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR

We will transfer data outside the EEA to countries with an adequacy decision (e.g. Switzerland or UK). In case of agreeing to share your information with other members, we will transfer the data also to members residing in third countries.

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

Retention

Your data are kept for the duration of membership and subsequently only as long as statutory retention duties (e.g. tax law) require.

Your rights

You may at any time request:

• access (Art. 15),
• rectification (Art. 16),
• erasure (Art. 17),
• restriction (Art. 18),
• data portability (Art. 20),
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21), and
• withdrawal of any consent given.
